CBSE CTET December 2024 Exam Eligibility and Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002.
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

FAQ

The last date to apply for CTET Exam December 2024 is 16th October 2024, before 11:59 PM. Candidates must ensure their application and fee payment are completed by this date.

You can apply for CTET Exam December 2024 online by visiting the official website https://ctet.nic.in, filling in the required details, uploading scanned images of your photo and signature, and paying the application fee.

The CTET Exam December 2024 exam is scheduled for 15th December 2024. Paper-II will be held in the morning (09:30 AM to 12:00 NOON), and Paper-I in the afternoon (02:00 PM to 04:30 PM).

For Paper I or II, the application fee is ₹1000 for General/OBC (NCL) candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates. For both papers, the fee is ₹1200 and ₹600, respectively.

Corrections can be made online during the specified correction window announced on the CTET website. However, changes in the exam city will not be allowed. Keep checking https://ctet.nic.in for updates.
