Candidates must have completed 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and either passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
Candidates with 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks, who have passed or are appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, are also eligible.

The application process for JHTET 2024 begins on 23/07/2024, and the last date for registration and payment of the exam fee is 26/08/2024. The exam date will be announced as per the schedule.
