FAQ

For the NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2024, Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Operators with HSC/ISC qualifications will not undergo a Skill Test. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test/Document Verification based on a ratio of 3 times the number of vacancies. If fewer candidates qualify, all eligible candidates will be called. In case of a tie, the number of candidates shortlisted may exceed the 3 times limit.

The number of candidates shortlisted for the Skill Test for Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Operators will not exceed 5 times the number of vacancies. If fewer candidates qualify, all will be called for the Skill Test. In case of a tie, all candidates with the same cut-off marks will be included.

Yes, outstation Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates who are not employed in Central/State Government or Public Sector roles will be reimbursed for to and fro Railway fare (2nd class/sleeper) or ordinary bus fare. The reimbursement will be made electronically to the bank account based on the address mentioned in the application. Candidates must submit their bank details in the prescribed format.
