Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level-12) requires a Ph.D. with 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience or 6 years of total experience after obtaining an M.Tech. or equivalent degree.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. for Grade-II positions. For Level-10, no additional requirements are specified. For Level-11, a paper accepted for publication in an SCI Journal is required. Publications in SCI Journals or patents are desirable for Level-11.
For Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level-12), desirable qualifications include two papers in SCI journals outside Ph.D. work, one ongoing sponsored project, and two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories. Experience in industry or R&D labs, as well as Ph.D. supervision and patents, are also advantageous.
